• Kitchen Safety: Stay attentive while cooking to prevent fires. Keep flammable items away from the stove and never leave cooking food unattended.

• Fire Safety: Test smoke detectors and have a fire extinguisher readily available in the kitchen.

• Travel Smart: If you’re hitting the road, plan ahead, drive cautiously, and avoid distractions. Make sure your vehicle is well-maintained for the trip.

• Home Security: When away from home, lock doors and windows, and consider using timers for lights to give the appearance someone is home.

• Health Precautions: Practice food safety by properly storing leftovers and avoiding cross-contamination.
